Youth Day. They promised it would be
exciting. They promised it would be life-changing. They
promised it would be memorable. They didn't disappoint.
The Youth Division kicked off the service
announcing that the total offering for the 2006 campaign was $3,405,490.55.
The Division honored both vocally and through multimedia, the top
Sheaves for Christ givers.

That was just part of the awards ceremony.
They also honored District Youth Presidents who showed outstanding
leadership in their districts with the Youth President of the Year
award. Four different Youth Presidents were honored, with one
being named as the Youth President of the Year.

The service was memorable for a young couple named
Scott and Amy Patterson. AYC (Apostolic Youth Corps) Campus has
placed them on location in Pennsylvania to evangelize the Penn State
University and the Pennsylvania Technical Institute campuses. The
combined enrollment for both of these campuses exceeds 47,000 students.
Though the task is monumental, the need is more so. These two will
spend one year as full-time missionaries to these students. Please
be praying for the Pattersons as they reach Pennsylvania students with
the Gospel.
The service culminated in an anointed Pastor Carl
McLaughlin preaching "Getting Beyond the Bandages." At the end of
the service, students from all over the United States and the world
gathered at the altar to offer themselves as vessels of honor for the
cause of Christ.
Exciting? Yes. Life-changing?
Yes. Memorable? For students in attendance, it was
unforgettable.
