What a time we're having. It's a historical night. Never
been done before. Where 1,000 or better receive the Holy
Ghost in one service on North American soil. But by faith, it will
happen tonight. Right here. Right now.
Through a DVD, the former St. Louis Cardinal Hall of Famer Lou Brock,
testified what God has meant to him throughout his life. Then came
what we affectionately refer to as the "dowel rods." Under the
direction of Terry Vik and Howi Tiller, students used dowel rods, just
sticks, to glorify the Lord. Enter Sam Emory from California.
Along with a team of musicians and vocalists, he is helping to create an
atmosphere in which God is able to work.
But would you know it? There are some in the stands tonight who
are unwilling to wait until the end to be baptized. In fact, as I
type and they sing, men's sins are being washed away in the saving name
of Jesus Christ. People have already come to the altars and are
being filled with the Holy Ghost.
And it's just the beginning of the service.
